Relationship and Respect
Say it 1,000 times, and then repeat again.
Teachers know these are the key words to developing a strong learning/teaching community.
Too often those words and their related actions are not taught
Or forgotten
Or not modeled
And possibly, even ignored.
We can only get better at this.
The lessons from ECET2
Keep reverberating through my mind.
The entire weekend I felt a strong sense of
Relationship and respect amongst my peers
At the conference.
So today when I returned to school,
The students and I talked about this.
I modeled this.
We will continue to grow this.
As we renew our path to quality teaching and learning.
We can only get better at this.
