This week I faced a teaching/learning challenge.
I am taking the challenge seriously since I know the challenge is well rooted with regard to good pedagogy, content, and teaching skill.
I reached out to colleagues. I reflected. I wrote. I researched. I am making change.
The issue could have been swept under the carpet, forgotten, or dismissed, but I know that it's important to listen carefully to critique and respond with care. That kind of work is not easy, but it is the kind of work that helps us to hone our craft and move forward as educators.
