Today marks the end of a learning period, and the start of the next period. Students are presenting with greater confidence, and recent data reports demonstrate a new level of student needs to meet. A professional conversation has also led to new challenges.
We will focus our next eight or so weeks on back-to-basics reading, writing, and math skills--I'll make every effort to integrate this work with meaningful, child-friendly content and endeavor. After that we'll focus on project base learning matching students' interests with a number of learning objectives and goals.
Key teaching efforts during this time include frequent student feedback, well designed learning experiences, and positive, professional advocacy and speak to support the best systems, programs, and efforts to forward student success and engagement. Onward.
