I asked the coordinator of our special education department if I could have copies of all the upcoming students' IEPs so I can give those reports a careful look during the summer.
I'm excited to do this since there's time in summer to carefully consider these reports. It will take time, but it will reap benefits.
The more I think about school, the more I realize that there's lots more prep needed to give a school year a good start than time allotted. I'll be thinking more about this in the days ahead. Onward.
