Spread Knowledge with Wisdom

Sometimes people in the know don't recognize the potential they have for spreading good news, inspiring positive change, and leading others.

Last night as I listened to an informed individual, I recognized that he might not understand the power he has to inspire others in ways that matter. As I listened to him, it was clear that he's done the research and was able to examine what he's learned with a strong academic and knowledge foundation. His analytical ability and his interest in the welfare of all Americans was evident--he has a lot to give in these times.

Too often, I believe, that those in the know belittle their knowledge, academic foundations, and potential to lift the people around them up. They don't realize the privilege they have, a privilege that comes from growing up in homes that valued knowledge, read a lot, supported good educations, invested in their children's learning--this kind of privilege comes with a responsibility to use one's knowledge to make the world around them better for themselves and others too.
