What will happen on this first day?
I'll take a moment to greet each child with care.
I'll do a lot of observation to make sure that all the children feel welcome and have what they need to succeed.
I'll solidify the class selfie project with colleagues, and start the project with the class.
I'll begin a number of organization/team systems to support a terrific year.
The sense of renewal, wonder, and excitement each new year brings is a unique aspect of teaching. We get to start again, apply past learning, and embark on a new journey each and every year.
