I devised a word to help keep me on track since I find lots of tangental paths interesting, and those paths have the potential of taking me away from my main focus of professional effort.
Why TOME? Well, each letter stands for a focus for the teaching/learning year, and by having one word that stands for the focus area, I can quickly consult the acronym to see if I should say yeah or nay to an endeavor. It's a quick decision making strategy.
