Naturalist Training Continues

Today's naturalist event gave students the chance to study pond water and observe a turtle and duck. Students learned that our available fresh water is equal to a drop as compared to 1/2 cup representing unavailable fresh water and 1 gallon standing for all the water in the world. Some students were fascinated by the animals and clearly never really had the chance to look closely. It was essentially a first lesson \about river habitats and nature's interrelationships.

Tomorrow we'll take a close look at composting. We'll resume our typical schedule which has been missing for a couple of weeks due to testing. That will be a welcome change.
