I had a great conversation with a trusted friend and colleague last night about good work.
At the center of the conversation was the fact that we have to focus our energy and choose our direction.
There are so many opportunities to fight the "small issues" of work and contribution, but often it's not worth it. It's better to reach high to do the best possible work. Good work will put the small matters to rest.
Why these small obstacles impede our efforts is left for me to think about with greater depth, but in the meantime, I'll set my sights on good, rich, deep goals, the kind of work that fills us with positivity, potential, and promise. Moving forward.
