Day's End Reflections

The day started with a joyful recess, then a PARCC test, more recess, science study, and music. Some students' stick-to-it-ness was waning, and I think that was due to the fact that testing has knocked our typical routines off track.

After a lesson about producers, consumers, and decomposers, we watched a related movie and sang a number of science songs. Many students really liked singing the songs, especially the songs they remembered from their science study in the earlier grades.

Tomorrow, students will take another test and study a bit more science and/or biography research, and the next day will be more of the same.

Friday's schedule is still a bit unresolved as I'm waiting to hear about a professional event, so time will tell. Onward.
