It's a welcome snow day. The howling wind woke me early, and I thought that a wind that strong could be dangerous, so it's good that children are home with their families. A wind that strong can also knock out the power, so I put the heat up a bit just in case we lose our heat and power later on.
For now though, I'll use the time to catch up on my TLI homework, thank you notes, and other work/home matters. I'm sure that a number of students stayed up to watch the Super Bowl so this will give them a day to catch up on sleep and play.
I'm glad we have the day. It's a great chance to catch up and think ahead. Onward.
