Getting Away Clears the Mind

Watching my son tackle the waves brought
me great pleasure. 

It was a short getaway, but well worth the time.

Everyone says it, and it's true, getting away clears the mind.

I've charted the course for summer study and preparation for school year 2015-2016, and I plan to add little more to the list. Instead, I'll plan a few more simple getaways like this weekend's beach trip to clear the mind and energize before another busy year of school is upon us. In between those short getaways, I'll study, research, and prepare for the year ahead. I encourage all educators to do the same.
