Expert Engagement: Freedom Trail Storytelling

An expert led all 50 of us, parents, teachers, and students, on a storytelling tour of Boston's Freedom Trail. Place after place he engaged the students with tales of Revolutionary War era Boston. He added humor, primary source images and documents, and a prize here and there to enrich his tales and capture our attention. It was a terrific learning adventure. Kudos to my colleagues who did all the leg work to make this happen, and thanks to the parents too who accompanied us on the tour.
