This was not the best school day of the year.
With nine biography edits to complete, the other children had to read quietly.
Then, the addition of a few extra students, added professional stress, and a some end-of-the-year angst and yes, misbehavior, it was a tough day. Not the kind of day I plan for.
In the end, so many children were extraordinary as they helped each other make final edits and print their reports. And now, there's only one poster to go and then we'll reach the completion point for this terrific project, a project my partner teacher introduced and gave life to this year.
Tomorrow is a special day, and with renewed energy and the last big project complete, it will be a day to enjoy the learning and camaraderie.
