Valentine's Day Leads to Friendship Week

As a child, there was little emphasis put on friendship.

We had a big, big family and it was always family first.

When it came to others, it was mainly a focus on service and care.

As an elementary school teacher and colleague, I know how important friendship is.

That's why I'm thinking of making Valentine's Day week, Friendship Week!

Then this morning, Margie Myers-Culver posted a review of the book, How to Grow a Friend, which prompted me to start a list of links and ideas for the special week only six weeks or so ahead.
