Every year it happens time and again, you see a need in a child's eyes.
Some needs are easy to meet, and others are much more complex.
You sometimes see the need, but you're not exactly sure what that need is or how to meet that need with the right response.
Today, at the lunch table, without names, I described a need I noticed.
Colleagues were so insightful as they asked me questions about the need. Questions that related to peers, processing, interests, and change.
Their questions helped me to see an issue with better eyes and clarity.
Tomorrow, I'll try some of the suggestions colleagues helped me reach. Even when challenging, we have to persevere towards good service to children, and often that means turning to colleagues for insight and support.
