Now I am focused on the charge at hand--teaching 5th graders science and math well.
I'll speak up if children's best interests are impacted, as that's part of the job of teaching children well.
I'll learn as much as I can to do the job well, and match the learning with the expectations in my organization.
The teaching journey is an eventful path, one that needs continual review, renewal, and redirection to do the job well.
