The Week Ahead

Choreographing the end of the year with care is important to a successful ending.  There's no doubt about it that emotions run higher at this time of year as students anticipate and await change.  The change of grades, teachers, schedules, and activities is on the minds of many.

With that in mind, and a busy exciting week of activity ahead including a school meeting assembly, a concert, field day, and a field trip, we'll tread lightly with the following emphasis:

Reading
We'll make time every day for quiet reading and read aloud.

Research
We'll focus on our service learning sale, presentation scripts, and presentation practice.

Math
We'll focus on facts and end-of-year assessments.

As for the teacher, it's time to focus on end of year progress reports, move-up day letters and folders, and lots of good energy for supporting the students at this time of change.
