Today is Transition Day and we're celebrating with a readathon.
Transition Day is the day between test prep/test days and project/problem base learning days.
Throughout the day today we'll reorient learning teams, classroom organization, supplies, and thought as we move into the invigorating days of collaborative project/problem base learning.
As students read, I'll meet with individuals. We'll also meet as teams and as the whole class to determine our direction for the next six weeks.
During transition day my most important job is to be present and to observe my learners as I prepare for the next leg of the year--an exciting end-of-the-year learning focus.
