The difference between exhaustion from great work and exhaustion from oppression

Oppression is exhausting.

Good work is exhausting too.

But, there's a difference.

Good work exhaustion results in a peaceful, promising feeling. When you're exhausted by good work you put your head on the pillow thinking, Wow! I can't believe we did this good work.

On the other hand, exhaustion from oppression leaves your head on that pillow discouraged, worried, and sad. You wonder, how am I going to get past this. You question who you are and what you believe in, and you are a bit scared too.

In every way we have to look for ways to alleviate oppression as oppression is a dead weight that lays about people's shoulders in horrible ways.

As far as the exhaustion from good work. We can all handle that as that brings us forward and shows us that we can push ahead to make a promising difference in the world around us. This is the kind of exhaustion that a good night's rest cures.
