I will resist the temptation to move too far outside my main foci for the year ahead which includes students, math, STEAM, and professional learning.
At times I'll be called to do different or other, but mostly I'll right my teaching ship in the direction named.
Everything is a bit more clear now that I have this direction. I know what to order; I know what to teach, and I know what I need to learn to do it well. Of course the year will be filled with questions and turns in the teaching road, but in general I have a good sense of direction with the year ahead in mind.
I'm looking forward to the next leg of the journey.
