PLC
Our math coach will lead today's PLC. I look forward to hearing the focus and considering the information, activity, and conversation shared.
Climate Change Projects
We'll begin with a meeting to review what we've done so far and what's planned. I'll review safety measures since some children will be creating prototypes for the projects they've come up with. Once the meeting is done, I'll support student teams as they work on their projects, projects that will include the following:
- Detailed plan
- Teacher review of the plan
- Creation of prototypes
- Review of prototypes
- Project work, review
- Project presentations and share
Historical Fiction Story Contest
We'll spend the end of the day reading students' stories for the historical fiction story contest. Then students will vote for a winning story. My colleagues who lead reading and writing leads these wonderful story writing contests which inspires students writing and love of stories.
End-of-Day Recess
We'll end the day with a recess. Our kindergarten buddies may join us.
It will be a good day.
