As we prep for upcoming tests, I employ many strategies. Those strategies differ year to year depending on who the students are and how they learn best.
Today, I'll match students up with like-ability/interest peers to take a practice test together. I'll encourage students to help each other, discuss the problems, and do their best. I'll work with a small group on the same task and also be available for questions. If there are assistants available, I'll match those assistants up with one or two students too to help out.
