Put Your Best Foot Forward

It's important to put your best foot forward to do what you can when you can. If you do that, when there are unexpected events, you'll be able to take the time you need and rely on the good work of the past

That's what happened to me recently. I needed to take some days and I found myself rightfully distracted by my brother's death Fortunately I was prepared at work and had mostly lived up to the expectations of related meetings and expectations. So when it became impossible to do some day-to-day work, I could rely on the efforts already prepared and ready to go.

So, in summary, work as well as you can when you can as that lays a good foundation for those times when you're pulled unexpectedly in other directions.
