The research is clear; more guns equals more gun violence. There is a real need in our country today to reduce, restrict, and regulate gun ownership and use. There is little reason for most Americans to own guns, and there are multiple reasons why gun ownership should be regulated. Who wants to see more senseless murders and harm, the kind that are well illustrated in the diagram below:
NRA zealots who make millions of dollars to promote gun use are turning a blind eye to the research. Essentially they are putting their own greed in front of the safety and good living for millions of Americans. There's no reason to listen to these self-serving individuals.
Instead listen to the impassioned, dedicated students from Stoneman Douglas, students from a school in Parkland that was named after an individual who stood up for human dignity.
The students brilliance and leadership can be illustrated in this quote by Rumi, "The wound is the place where the light enters you."

So on March 24th I'll join many in my hometown Worcester, Massachusetts to March for Our Lives--we all have to stand up for what is right and good for people in our great country and global community.
