Attending and or Watching the Local School Committee Meeting: A Lesson in Public Process

It's really worth watching or attending a local public meeting. I watched the school committee meeting tonight, and I learned a lot about the school system I work for and a lot about good public process too. It's both inspiring and amazing to see democracy in action. This would be a good exercise for high school students too.
