When educators feel like part of the team, energy, enthusiasm, and good education is much more possible than when educators feel left out of decisions, information share, and vision setting.
It's the same with students. Students who feel like they are part of the classroom, grade-level, or subject area team are more likely to find the good energy they need to learn well.
Teaming is an incredibly powerful focus for teaching and learning.
For teams to work well, those teams have to be real. The work they do together must be authentic.
