Traditional Teaching

I noted that the lessons this week were going to be quite traditional. After the lesson a young girl responded, "I like lessons like this. I learned a lot." This demonstrates that there is not one way to teach--there are many ways to engage young children when it comes to learning, and for now, I think a mixed menu is the way to go-a menu of multiple approaches, resources, and tools to appeal to the many different children and styles of learning you teach.
