As an educator, when working with children, I typically choose the path of least resistance. This doesn't mean that I give up on student, but instead, this means that I find the positive path as much as often.
I can't say that this was always true for me, but I can say that almost 99% of the time now I look for win-win solutions when it comes to coaching students forward. I want to think more strategically about what this means exactly, and will post a later blog post about it.
