Are you accessible to your constituents, the people you lead each day?
Are you accessible with regard to communication? Do they know how to contact you, and when to expect a response?
Are you accessible with regard to your expectations and efforts? Do people understand you? Do they know what you expect? Are your expectations reasonable?
Are you accessible with your tone, attitude, and time? Do you make time for those you lead? Are you positive and welcoming? Do people trust you? Are you responsive?
Accessibility matters, and this is an area of leadership I want to think about as I get ready to serve the students and families I work with well.
