One way to diminish individuals is to not respond to questions or requests.
A lack of response sends the message that one's voice, ideas and efforts don't matter.
Sometimes one may choose not to answer in order to send a strong message, and sometimes in some circumstances that message is understood and the unwanted questions and thoughts end.
Yet, in general, a question deserves a response.
So, if you've asked me a question, and I haven't responded. That's not my intent, it's simply an error. So please, ask again.
