Not the Best Lesson
I put a lot of time and thought into planning today's math lesson, but it wasn't as successful as I hoped. The lesson involved too much listening and too big of a stretch. Yet I'm not giving up on it--I want to see this learning experience through. I'll scaffold a bit more, turn students lose on the project, support along the way, and make decisions about next steps as we go along. If we never try anything new, we won't grow as educators, and if we don't grow the learning will stay status quo. This is not what we want when we know the potential for better and more exists. Onward.
