As a team we thoughtfully discussed the following issues:
- supporting students well for success
- the development of racial/cultural identity
- accommodations that serve students well
Many, many ideas were shared by the team, and now it's time to implement the ideas for betterment.
With students we discussed the use of online tools, specifically Khan Academy, to develop math knowledge and skill. We discussed which levels help us to build proficiency and when online tools like Khan are helpful.
The day left me with lots to think about with regard to the week ahead, and prompted me to revisit schedules and organization. Now it's time to dig in and make real the results of our analyses.
