To learn we need to practice.
We can find all kinds of ways to make practice motivating, but what's important is that we devote time to practicing skill needed to move forward.
In math this week the students are doing a lot of practice. It's not that exciting even though I've matched the practice with relevant numbers, numbers that will be used on an upcoming research project or for geography study.
Yet, if students practice these skills, they'll be much more ready for the next phase of math learning. Onward.
