Mondays are the toughest teaching day of the week this year--every year it's a different day that's toughest and what makes the day challenging is based on multiple factors. Today it was difficult reviewing multiple MCAS test strategies and tools--children were not as invested in this review as they are with other types of math lessons.
That said, tomorrow is a new day. The day will begin with meeting a principal candidate for our school's principal next year. Then there will be time to prep curriculum materials, engage students in a more independent review of math skills and strategies, and some time for math tech. Onward.
