Teaching and leading schools with a "learning community" focus serves everyone well. When we come together as a community of learners at parent-teacher meetings, student meetings, professional development share, and collegial efforts, we support the "collective genius" of an organization and help one another move forward with regard to our desire to learn, do better, and contribute.
How do we develop the learning community with depth and purpose?
What's important in this regard?
These are questions I've thought a lot about and will think about in the days ahead with regard to my own practice and the collective practice I embark on with others.
In the meantime, if you have resources related to this that you think will be helpful, I welcome your support.
