Students have been studying science all year. My wonderful colleagues have introduced them to countless science concepts, stories, and changemakers through a large number of reading and writing activities. They have clearly learned a lot.
Now, however, with the ELA and Math standardized tests behind us and the multiple curriculum standards taught, we are moving into our interdisciplinary science season with multiple teaching/learning efforts and lots of expert visits and experiences.
Today we'll start that effort in earnest with our a deeper look and study at our spadefoot tadpoles and the creation of science teams. I'm excited about beginning this science study adventure.
