What Can I Do to Support Children More

There's always more to do in education, and as I consider my role today, I consider what I can do to better support children. This shortlist will help me to move in that direction.

• Continued daily targeted and responsive lessons.
• Continued communication and collaboration with the learning/teaching team.
• Homework that matches the learner's needs. I need to reach out more to specialists, parents, and students for whom the homework needs greater tailoring. By instituting a pattern for this, I'll be sure to do it.
• Regular feedback. Again this effort will profit from a good pattern.
• Time for students' own reflection and assessment.
• Professional learning in the content/concept areas I'm responsible for.
