Why Do You Do What You Do?

Recently, I've been thinking about effective systems.

At the root of effective systems is well thought-out vision and effort, and doing things for the right reasons--the best reasons.

At times our effort and success is compromised because we miss the point or do things for the wrong reasons.

At the root of all good systems and efforts is a solid rationale, impulse or drive--a dream, a vision that holds promise.

Further to plan, dream and carry out endeavor in isolation often leads to less support, investment and follow-through (though not always).  Yet, in many respects, it's best to drive your dreams collaboratively, particularly when the dream involves an organization.

Share your mission, vision, goals and enlist support--move forward together with collective intent.

Why do you do what you do?  How do you communicate your efforts?  Who do you work with in your cause?
